His personal projects chronicle American communities, combining research with long-form journalism to explore history, symbols, and subcultures.

His favorite photographs are curious, quirky, joyous, and empathetic.

"Tay-oh", which sounds like "Day-o" and "Hey-o!" I am part Dutch and that's my nickname, short for Theodore. My last name rhymes with Homer, like the Simpsons character (not Boomer, like the football analyst).
